Placecard is a seating-plan app for weddings and events, made by Johan Pienaar, trading as Slatefox. This notice explains what data Placecard processes. The short version: everything stays on your device. We don't collect it, and we can't see it.

What Placecard stores, and where
The information you enter - event details, guest names, groups, RSVPs, dietary notes, tables, seating arrangements, layouts and conflict rules - is stored only on your device, in the app's local database. Placecard has no user accounts and no sign-in.
We operate no servers that receive this content, and the app does not transmit it to us or to any third party. If you use Apple's device or iCloud backups, your Placecard data may be included in those backups - that happens under your Apple account and Apple's terms, not ours.
What we do not collect
Placecard contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share your data - because we never receive it. On the App Store, Placecard is declared as "Data Not Collected."
Purchases
Placecard offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full version. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment details. Apple's processing of a purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you contact support
If you email support@slatefox.nl, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, so we can help you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you. We keep support emails only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of any personal data we hold (which, for Placecard, is essentially only support correspondence you send us). Email support@slatefox.nl to exercise them. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Children
Placecard is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this notice from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
